Hwaseong FC (Korean: 화성 FC) is a South Korean semi-professional football club based in Hwaseong, South Korea. They currently play in the K3 League, the third tier of the South Korean football club.

History

Founding

The club was founded on 23 January 2013.

Hwaseong FC je jihokorejský fotbalový klub založený v roce 2006 se sídlem ve městě Hwaseong. Jejich domovským stadionem je Sportovní město Hwaseong s kapacitou 35 000 míst. V současnosti hrají v K League 2, druhé nejvyšší lize v Jižní Koreji.

Hwaseong FC vstoupil do K League 2 v roce 2013 a od té doby se umístili převážně ve středu tabulky. Jejich nejlepším výsledkem bylo 4. místo v letech 2015 a 2018. Klub se také dvakrát dostal do finále Korejského FA Cupu, ale v obou případech prohrál.

Domácí zápasy Hwaseong FC jsou známé tím, že přitahují velké davy fanoušků. Klub má silnou základnu příznivců ve městě Hwaseong a v okolních oblastech.

Hwaseong FC je jedním z nejrychleji rostoucích fotbalových klubů v Jižní Koreji. Mají mladý a talentovaný tým a v nadcházejících letech mají ambiciózní plány na postup do K League 1.
